Ceremonies
The reason I became an officiant is because marking events in our lives is important, and I wanted to offer meaningful non-religious ceremonies for people as they experience these times. Births, weddings, deaths — each are such significant milestones, and I treat every one with care and compassion.
Weddings
I craft a unique, non-religious ceremony to join you and your partner in a legal marriage. My work is fully inclusive and welcoming to all. The ceremony may be simple and short, or it may be a longer one, with personalized vows and passages. It may be traditional or creative, incorporating aspects of your culture if you’d like — it’s up to you. What matters most is that it reflects your values and is authentic to you. Your ceremony is designed and conducted to meet your wishes and dreams for your special day.

Celebrations of Life and Funerals
Through listening to your shared stories, I create and lead a non-religious ceremony — funeral, interment, and/or celebration of life — to honour the deceased and give family and friends a compassionate space in which to memorialize, remember and say goodbye to your loved one.
For those who would like everything in order before their time comes, I also work with people in planning their own future ceremony. Together we prepare a eulogy and/or full ceremony in advance, to keep on-hand and relieve the family of that work later.
If you are looking to renew your marriage vows, I am happy to help you do that. I work with you to craft a ceremony exactly as you would like, to mark that special recommitment in your partnership.
To welcome a new baby, I create a non-religious ceremony to celebrate the wonderful addition into your family — a new tradition of “baby-naming”.
If you have any other ceremony in mind, please don’t hesitate to ask, and we can discuss possibilities for you.
